"Look, all I'm asking is for you to just have the tiniest bit of vision. You know, to just sit back for one minute and look at the big picture. To take a chance on something that just might end up being the most profoundly impactful moment for humanity, for the history... of history."

"Despite knowing the journey... and where it leads... I embrace it... and I welcome every moment of it."

Despite knowing this film inside and out, I welcome every minute of runtime. It has so many of my favorite aspects of SF beautifully woven together. Strung together by an amazing cast and a respectable budget for a non-superhero SF film.

Mandy Moore is my age and she looks so damn young. Anyway... this was about what I expected, which wasn't all that good. Not the worst thing ever, but pretty uninspired.

Has a lot more to say than most zombie flicks. Though felt it dragged a few different times. Also while it seems Bub in general was a hit with the audiences, not with me. The doc himself talked about only the "goo" primordial/instinctive part of the brain is left in the zombie. ...So how is Bub remembering learned actions? Associating objects? These aren't instinctual.

Anyway, enjoyed it. Won't likely choose to put it on again though.

Eh, s'ok. Well produced, but I think 100 mins is a bit long for the simplicity of the tale. 80-85 mins max. Also the pool encounter just didn't vibe right with me. "It" seemed a bit out of character.

Enjoyable film overall, as it wasn't all slash and scare. Could watch it again, but not likely to choose it.

Why won't these writers send me their SF romcom screenplays so I can nudge them from being above average to excellent. This script was the perfect setup to smash all of its genre tags. Apparently though the writer must not have been aware to the full extent its scientific premise could be extrapolated and must not be a true science fiction fan... ๐Ÿ˜ข + ๐Ÿผ.
