An assassin is poisoned and with 24 hours left to live must solve her own mystery. Also kicking a ton of ass in that time!
Great movie, I had some issues with the kid character Ani, I found her a little annoying and the thankfully brief CGI car chase took me out of the film a little bit. None of this spoiled what I thought was a hell of an action movie! There's a fight in a tea house that reminded me a lot of chanbaras of days gone by, just with guns thrown in the mix.
    Solid film and recommended!

Actually a solid MCU movie with some rock solid action in it all the way up until the third act when it turns into a Dungeons & Dragons game.

    Son of a biscuit!
James Wan takes his black check, shifts things into 11th gear and delivers one of the most bonkers entertaining films I've seen in awhile. The directing here is inspired to say the least, he handles both tension and action scenes very well. The ideas on display here are also quite inspired, drawing from the same well that Frank Henenlotter and Stephen King sip from.
It's really hard to get too much into things with out spoiling the story, which I really don't want to do. This one is best approached blind. You've really got to experience this madness for yourself.
    Highly recommended!

    I absolutely loved this movie.
    The directing is exquisite.
The acting is all top tier.
    The kills are awesome.
The story fits right into the Candyman universe perfectly.
My only nitpick is a little of the social commentary is too on the nose where as in the original it was subtle and there for your interpretation, but this is only the most minor of nitpicks. It gets nowhere close to derailing this film.
