Dave Jackson’s review published on Letterboxd:
I'm so pleased this franchise is still chugging along, in full acceptance of its madness and without reboots. Cult of Chucky is a nice mixture of the more serious tone of the previous entry and the lunacy of Bride. It doesn't always work. It's slow in parts and there's dodgy moments along the way. But I had a lot of fun. Fiona Dourif is, again, a goddamn delight. Her dad sounds like he's having a whale of a time. There's solid laughs, some great mean-spirited kills, and a storyline that takes the series in a new, fun direction. Never stop making this nonsense, Don Mancini!
