Justin Peterson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Remembering what it was like to be young again ... there is really no feeling like it.
So glad we went to go see Raya at the drive-in so we could be treated to this beautifully spirited Disney short beforehand. The silent short introduces us to a grumpy old man whose wife misses how they used to dance together when they were young. But then some magical rain puts a youthful groove back into his step to help him sweep her off her feet.
Us Again had the feel of one of those old school dancing musicals like 'Singing in the Rain', but with a hip new modern flair to it. Plus the animation was equally as stunning as Raya, which you can see in the poster from that awesome-looking reflection of the couple dancing.
Definitely give Us Again a look once it becomes more widely available.
Thanks for reading.
Happy short film watching ... Cheers!
