    Knowing that this was funded as a quickie to be filmed under lockdown conditions only makes me feel more strongly that Wheatley works best under tough time & budget constraints, like an Edgar Ulmer of the 21st century, using shadows, light and purposeful elisions in the information provided to the audience to create something that really isn't there in the material.
