I HATE MOVIES
A Hollyweird Degrassi starring babies Crispin Glover, Nicholas Coppola, and Jill Schoelen? Sign me up! A high school sitcom with a canned laugh track and corny songs about doing chores that occasionally delves into more serious subject matter like enlisting in the military or generational strife, The Best of Times, hits too broad and corny to work as a comedy and too treacly monologue earnest to provide actual insight into youth culture. But what star power! I want to live in an alternate reality where this cast took off early instead of the Fast Times crew.
Took me half a week to finally log a review for this remake 'cause it's so exhausting. Luca G's Suspiria is kind of a mess that tries to do way too much without really hitting any mark over a bloated span of nearly three hours.
