Cordel Blair’s review published on Letterboxd:
After my second viewing——
This film is impressive, on a technical level, on a story level. It’s just impressive. I want this to at least win best cinematography at all of the awards this year, but realistically speaking this film brings new life to the idea of changing film history, because this has changed what film is going to be like over the next 50+ years
It’s not going to just be enough anymore to make a barebones movie *coughs in new mutants* you have to have something that will change the game, for gosh sakes, this literally invents a new version of time travel, and it’s not what most people think
John David Washington and Robert Pattinson are amazing in this.
I can’t put many words up here without saying it, but I didn’t have really an issue with the sound mixing, I watched on both IMAX 15/70 film and in Dolby Vision with Dolby Atmos, (Dolby cinema) and I didn’t really have an issue with either, Just AMC STOP PUTTING MORE THINGS INFRONT OF THE FILM AND JUST START THE DAMN FILM ON TIME
you’re going to like it, just make sure you put 100% focus on the film
Watch it on the biggest and loudest screens possible and you’ll love it
