Film #17 in my Hoop-Tober 2021 Challenge
The least "Saw''-like of the Saw franchise- feels more like a grungy 90s cop vs serial killer thriller- Se7en, Blue Steel, etc.
Chris Rock did a damn solid job.
I quite enjoyed this to be honest.
Film #16 in my Hoop-Tober 2021 Challenge
While the previous Saw movies were filmed like a daytime soap, albeit with an intentionally gross colour scheme and frantic editing, this feels more like an average studio movie, both the way it's shot and just the overall tone- but it loses something in doing so.
Having binged all the Saw sequels up to this point, I can safely say that I enjoyed all of them but ''liked'' none of them.
