Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)

Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) ★★★★

An interesting retelling of the famous play Death of a Salesman, all the actors involved did a tremendous job with their roles, from Michael Keaton's depressed has been superhero actor to Ed Norton's appropriately skeevy broadway diva. The camerawork for the film is one of the biggest flaws with quick pans sometimes bordering on nauseating in speed. I'm not entirely sure this generation needed its own retelling of this story, but the film is serviceable enough for almost anyone to enjoy. Highly recommended given the current drought of decent films in theaters.
