A straight-forward, crushingly honest portrayal of a young confident gay man over some months in in New York City. It occasionally bounces into some interviews of young gays at a gay pride parade, giving a glimpse into the attitudes of the time. 

It’s almost shocking how frank the movie is about sexuality and romance. It manages to find a pace in between scenes of gay orgies and long romantic nights, watching movies and having dinners.
