    When you think one of your favourite films can’t get any better, watch it in 4K and you will realise you were wrong. 


    Recently treated myself to a new 4K player, 4K tv and sound bar. Certainly makes fracturing my elbow more bearable, although I can’t sleep no matter what I do!

    I did not like the format with the 3 parts and the film in it’s entirety wasn’t interesting in the slightest. When one part started my brain just pooped out the previous like it never happened. 

    There was a over abundance of… everything!! and my brain settled with looking at the artistic side of the film. Which you cannot fault tbf.

    Considering this is based on true events you would think they want to tell the fascinating story about two political prisoners. But that doesn’t happen! There’s maybe 3 minutes that shows you why they are inside, then some writing before the credits explaining what happened next. 

    You learn very little about WHO they are. WHAT they are fighting for and WHY. I know they are fighting for a good cause but the film gave me no reason to care for…
