This is one of those movies that you have to watch for yourself to truly appreciate it. It is more of a lesson in philosophy than it is a war movie. It will prove to be difficult for anyone to try and keep track of all the different existential questions that are asked throughout it. Terrence Malick made something truly beautiful here and the fact that he made it after a 20 year hiatus just makes it that much more…

This was not an easy film to rate. It made me feel super uncomfortable and I hated a lot of things that happened to the characters, but I guess that was the point? If you like downer movies then this is the one for you, but if you prefer your movies with a bit of optimism then stay clear! My biggest critique is that they could have put in more effort laying the groundwork for the twist that comes near…

Was this as good as the first Quiet Place? Not quite. It tread a lot of the same ground, the monsters weren’t as scary because they were no longer invulnerable, and we could have used more Emily Blunt. But this was still a damn good sequel! Like the first movie, this was so tense from start to finish! I BEG you to watch this in a theatre if you can!

Never have I been more captivated by archeology since Indiana Jones. Which is quite the feat for this film since, despite it being set on the precipice of WWII, not even ONE Nazi for punched. Instead the story was entirely focused on, and don’t be too shocked by this DIGGING, with a subplot involving homosexual repression. The cinematography and score was A1 though 👌🏼 This movie sounds boring, and will be for a lot of people, but give it a…

Here’s a shocker for all of you: Scorsese and DeNiro made a good movie together 😱 and not just a good movie but a great movie! After seeing this I definitely get where The Joker got its inspiration from.

The restaurant scene. Surprisingly relatable. I mean, who among us hasn’t fantasized about a better life from time to time?

What a pleasant surprise this was! Quite possibly my favourite Disney live action remake. Probably my main critique is that it’s far too long. There’s no reason this should’ve been over two hours. Also, Mark Strong was criminally underused. Other than that, a very fun prequel!

    Favourite Character
Cruella. Emma Thompson’s Baroness is the only other character that comes close but this is completely Emma Stone’s movie.

    Favourite Scene
The montage of Cruella upstaging the Baroness was great!
