Cabin Fever

Cabin Fever

the idea that any of this was written down, let alone all of it, is fucking nuts to me. I mean, obviously it’s not good, it’s actually very technically bad— uneven, illogical, poorly paced, has legitimately ten ending scenes right in a row—and I wouldn’t even call it silly as a defining characteristic? it’s one of those movies where it seems like it was way more fun to make than it is to watch, which usually gives improv show red flags, but in this case it’s endearing. in summary, the wikipedia entry for this movie says that the audition for the female lead was scheduled for 9/11 and it appears that they tried to cancel it (due to 9/11) but ultimately did not. that vibe makes it to the screen.
