"Part of the journey is the end."
It is extremely rare for a franchise to culminate with such indescribable grandeur and scale. Few have managed to pull it off, with the MCU officially joining the club. Avengers: Endgame can easily be labeled as the only event where the MCU truly peaked. It is the ultimate culmination in honor of all the 21 films that came before it. It is a massive film where action and humor (the most recognizable trademark of the franchise) are having a hard time figuring out how to overshadow the emotional weight of its entirety. It is perfectly balanced.
The best thing about this film is the pacing. It runs for about three hours long yet it doesn't feel one. I didn't even get the urge to pee. All of the acts are stunners as they perfectly link together without being unwieldy and forced. It gives off time to every character enough for each one of them to shine in their own ways. I'm in no doubt of declaring the Russo brothers as the superior directors of the MCU. They have made the franchise even more compelling and worthy of following.
