Clichéd, rarely funny, by-the-numbers holiday romcom that employs copious use of the word "fuck" (which is definitely what other holiday romcoms have been missing). Yet somehow it still...kinda works? Decent chemistry between the leads and a fun supporting cast help distract from the banal nature of the story.
And, for the first time since Nancy Drew, Emma Roberts didn't annoy me!
I've been blessed enough to see Hamilton 4x (once on Broadway and thrice on tour), including from a front row lottery seat. Watching this I still felt every chill, thrill, heartbreak, and sense of hope that I felt when sitting in the audience.

Quite possibly my favorite Marvel serving thus far. A near perfect movie for me (I might have shaved off 10 minutes. MIGHT). I didn't go into this expecting feels but I sure was overcome by them...more than once. Great action sequences, snappy dialogue, & two great tags.
Addendum: after multiple watches this is a perfect movie and my new rating reflects this. 5/19/16
