Nate Richard’s review published on Letterboxd:
The Legend of Tarzan is an extremely flawed film with a lackluster script, mostly terrible CGI, an overabundance of slo-mo, and extremely weak villains; yet somehow I still enjoyed it, especially as a fan of the character. Alexander Skarsgård is a great Tarzan, Margot Robbie is solid as Jane, and Samuel L. Jackson looks like he's having a blast. The action scenes for the most part are well directed by David Yates and the pacing was on-point.Sure, the story is predictable, but I managed to still have fun with it. A guilty-pleasure for me; I can totally see why some people aren't liking it.
