Tenet ★★★

This is two and a half hours of Nolan playing with his toys but forgetting to work on character. If he’d remembered, and written some scenes that didn’t feel hyper real, there might have been a journey here that was interesting to see unfold. Instead, it’s a whole lot of style and overly orchestrated (but boring) action that outstays its welcome. I can’t see myself returning to this lifeless film but the score from Goransson deserves another listen.
