Okay! Ilya Naishuller, the man responsible for Hardcore Henry’s undiluted bionic assault, settles down beautifully in the company of grown-up humans like Bob Odenkirk, RZA, and — because the movie gods are merciful and wise — a shotgun-toting Christopher Lloyd. It deserves a little slap on the wrist for some retrograde politics (violence=manhood; Connie Nielsen hides in the basement) but we all know we’re here for the body count so I’ll shut up now. Highly recommended.
