Watched this yesterday but forgot to review it.
Even for a Christopher Nolan film the characters felt underdeveloped and a little bland. Especially The Protagonist as instead of giving him a personality they just gave him MCU dialogue that didn’t fit the film. I know it isn’t character focused and more on the plot and world but it was really noticeable in this film. All the comedy was pretty terrible as well.
Other than that I did still thoroughly enjoy watching the film. The plot was intriguing even if a little convoluted the first time round. The action was absolutely superb with it taking full advantage of the film’s premise. It was also shot and directed well but that’s expected when watching a Christopher Nolan film.
It might take another re-watch before I start to love it but my expectations were still met
