After last movie by Domalewski I knew I was going to love „Jak najdalej stąd”. I like how in this one he also tackles polish emigration for a better job and the impact it has on a family.
This really is a perfect crime movie. The scene where Alan Deloin and Gian Maria Volonté smoke cigarettes and camera zooms and at each of them, almost expecting some kind of reaction but they don’t say anything is so great. They quickly establish a bond without unnecessary words. Also - great (pessimistic) motive of the movie that assumes all men are guilty (and is reassured at the end).
