I don't know why I felt I needed to watch this. It's not a good movie. The Cormac McCarthy script is bleak yet not fulfilling like his other work. But Cameron Diaz fucking a car might be one of the funniest scenes in a film.
"Minari" is a beautiful film and I don't just mean that visually. The soul of this movie is absolutely pure and heartwarming without feeling hokey. For all the heartache this story can cause you will no doubt have your spirits lifted by the end. After a string of watching depressing films I was so taken by something that is legitimately good natured.

It's been a while since a stage show has brought me to tears and I wasn't expecting it to be Derek Delgaudio. The magician and storyteller is an expert showman. He knows how to work an audience but most importantly he knows how to touch the heart. His exploitation into what makes us unique shouldn't work. It should feel cliche or even cheesy but he makes it an amazing experience.
