Either I dreamt this movie or watched it in real life. Either way I’m glad it happened. This movie was way ahead of its time and its because of the man himself, Christopher Nolan. He takes this movie to a whole other level and makes the viewer start questioning his/her existence or if it’s just a dream. After you watch it, your brain will feel like it has just ran a 2 and a half hour sprint.

I’ve been waiting a while to do this one because this movie is one of the greatest films that has ever hit cinema. Let me run some facts by before I go into the review:

-it took 10 days for John Carpenter to write the script, screenplay and music
-it took 20 days to find actors and crew and to film the whole movie (so whole movie was done in a month)
    -budget was $300,000 ($1.1 million in 2020)…

    The Garden Of The Woods.

This movie is 45 minutes long on Netflix. Figured I would try it since it is so short. The only thing I can say about this film is its very calming. I just felt relaxed by the narration, rain and the simplicity of it all. Now the story, lots of confusion that I sat wondering about. An okay short film.

Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.

I’m embarrassed to say that I just saw Shang Chi this past weekend. The longest it’s ever taken for me for a MCU movie. Had a lot going on weeks before but finally got around to it! What awesome story this brought to the MCU. Beautiful cinematography, that final battle might be one of the best in the MCU. The real Mandarin was awesome, gave a lot of story between the family dynamic. And as always, well needed humor! Can’t wait to see the Ten Rings in action...

    Avengers: Endgame.

There’s a reason why this movie is at #1 and beats all others. When I say I walked into the theater April 27th 2019 I had no idea what to expect. The cinematography, the dialogue, the scenes, tying up more loose ends than any other movie, and of course made it feel like this movie was made specially for the people who went to theaters to see Iron Man in 2008. I laughed, cried, cheered. The best movie…

    Silence of the Lambs.

Finally got around to seeing this movie and wow, I was not disappointed.

Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster totally steal the whole movie, their duo is the best. The plot had me on the edge of my seat just wanting to know what happens next. My favorite part about the film is the cinematography. The close up shots of each character. I think that’s what made the movie so good yet so disturbing.Β

Highly recommend checking this movie out and be blown away.
