”Don't try to understand it. Feel it.”
Amazingly and wholeheartedly my shit. A film you “understand” the more you watch it, but that’s not even the point. It’s an experience to watch Nolan at his most self and I love every single moment of it. Wrote a bit more in my previous review so here’s a few things I noticed and love on a rewatch:
-Runtime is nonexistent, runs so swiftly.
-JDW and Pattinson’s relationship needs at *least* a trilogy.
-“I’m the protagonist” - chills every time.
-Ludwig Göransson score is one of the most mesmerizing things I’ve ever heard.
-Nolan please keep making films like this; not necessarily his best film, but it’s such a fun and exciting watch I can’t help but fall in love.
-You might not like Nolan, but he’s a master of his craft and you have to admire that.
