Josh Murray’s review published on Letterboxd:
If I'm supposed to feel lonely and empty, mission accomplished. The silence is literally nauseating. But this plus awkward rattle and hum sound of everyday living might have been a groove I enjoyed more. Then, am I missing the point? At any rate, the elevator bit is an all-time troll.
It's a bit slow to get through. Still, it's so short, but is it all relative? I'll gleefully throw 200 minutes of Short Cuts on anytime or half a season of ER.
Anyway, next Chantal Akerman should be me finally doing one of the dialoguey narrative features. I like her shots, I like her weird ideas, I've seen the more one-note ones, time to get fucked up.
