wasp woman takes way too long to actually show up and is not actually a giant wasp with a lady's face like the poster shows. i could totally take her in a fight she didn't have super wasp strength or anything. normal wasps depicted in the film are in fact bees.
the thing is i never watched this movie as a child. my friends made me watch it for the first time at 20 because they couldn't believe i'd never seen it and well. we had some laughs and i didn't consider it a waste of my time but i feel like if i had watching it alone then i would've found this experience really harrowing. funny little movie but this kid's fake world sucks. i imagined up way better shit when i was his age
i hate the beatles and i hated most of this movie but something happened towards the end that caused a shift in my psyche and i am now a nicer man and i feel as though the darkest corners of my heart have been illuminated by the magic of friendship. i would like to hold jeremy gently in my arms. i still hate the beatles but i sang and danced along at the end because they said "ALL together now"…
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
i don't know what alex trying to fit in with the other lions, only to be rejected because of his love of dancing, is a metaphor for, but it's definitely a metaphor for SOMETHING. also remember when king julien was just completely ready to kill melman? a little fucked up if you ask me
