I had to steal Wifie passcode from neighboring country for access to moviefilm about delivery of prodigious bribe to American regime for make benefit once glorious nation of Kazakhstan, as the great Amazonia has yet to shrink moviefilm into disc for player. Great success! While Moviefilm has more script than first of Borat trip to US & A, Borat make great success spreading Virus all over world while make fun with left and right, east and west, feminist and supreme-ists, male…

  • Batman

Batman takes on four of his arch-enemies at once! One of the silliest, campiest live-action films one can find is also the first live-action non-independently-produced superhero film - 1966's Batman. I don't think I've seen this one for 30 years and honestly I think I had forgotten that I had seen it in my youth, confusing this film with the television series that followed with the same actors and costumes. In watching it, however, I recalled the best memories of…

    Toy Story

Like The Lion King, I was a pre-teen that figured I was growing out of these kinds of kid's cartoons in the mid-90's as I already had a preference for films like Terminator 2 and The Predator. It's a major reason I was never attached to animations in general and why this was the only Toy Story flick that I've ever seen in it's entirety before now. To be honest I didn't even know Tom Hanks helmed this franchise as…

I'm both critical and a fan of this one for similar reasons. Being a through hiker of the Appalachian Trail (2017) and both having my own 'problems' at the time and knowing plenty of other hikers with worse 'problems' I can relate to this one well, but I'm neither surprised nor even much moved by it. Sure, Reese Witherspoon puts on a solid and compelling performance, and yes it is a quality flick about a long hike, which is great.…

A giant film in cinematic history. This film might not have been the first historical drama, but its critical success cemented the genre as a big-budget money maker on the big screen, which documentaries had been seemingly trying to do since the inception of the film industry. There's really no telling how many more people have seen Niel Armstrong land on the moon in the introduction of this film than have actually pulled the events up on you-tube or elsewhere.…

    The Lego Movie

In act two around the burning of rainbow-land I started really enjoying this movie made mostly of Lego toys. I do think I enjoyed what I was watching more before the big twist in act three, but it was still fun nevertheless. It's certainly highly creative in it's mixed use of everything Lego. It's much better than I expected it to be, for sure.
