my reviews are basic because I don't know shit about filmmaking
This is not a very objective rating because Mary Elizabeth Winstead is in this film, as ASSASSIN.
Jokes aside: Idk, it's fun and colorful but at the same time is not original, and kind of preditable.
It's almost inevitable to put a comparison with both John Wick (which is much better) and Gunpowder milkshake (which makes more sense).
But, overall, I think it's good yet forgettable.
James Wan my man you did it again
I thought this was really predictable but HOLY MOTHER OF CHRIST.
I had a wonderful time: it's fun and entertaining, and you can pinpoint some references to films from older times but without losing accuracy.
Also, I loved that Kim K met gala 2021 cameo.
This film is such a good slow burner: the mysterious questions in the beginning, the complex relationships between the characters, and that sad yet beautiful ending.
ALSO: the use of colour. Blew my mind. The pink scene with Jane is probably my favourite one, of all time, in terms of aesthetic.
On top of that, I love that very last conversation. I've also said speeches in silence, and heard the same voice in different people. Love and pain sometimes bond…
