This could have been a good short film, because you can see how it stretches at the seams in order to reach feature length. It is very repetitive. You'll have one talking head style interview, which is then followed by another interview of another person and they'll just say what the previous guy had just said.

Strong performances all round with plenty of vibrant and vivid colours. The melodrama is laid on thick, with one taboo subject being tackled after another. I really admire the balls it would have taken to explore a story as risqué as this, especially during the 90s. Feels ahead of it's time in how it depicts LGBT characters.

    The best Marvel movie.

Yeah, it's full of fan service and has some awkward humour and some distracting CGI, but this is honestly what I've always wanted out of a Marvel movie.

It's funny, exciting, and there are actual consequences. The plot is simple, but manages to bring up a lot of unexpected conflicts. All of the main cast did a great job. The movie was even stylized - they actually used the camera to enhance the story! Never thought…
