i’m honestly just so grateful that david lynch was able to create something so compelling because twin peaks is a masterpiece. season 1 and 2 are flawless and FWWM is just absolutely perfection. i thought season 3 was gonna answer some questions which lynch did in his way, and i’m so glad it was patient and there were longer scenes of mundane things/establishing shots as it really gave me the time to analyse things, so rare a tv show doesn’t spoon feed audiences- which i feel like should be praised more. the sound design is impeccable as always, that room tone is sexy as fuck. the last episode really messed me tf up especially the last few minutes, hearing laura palmer’s scream sends chills down my spine every fucking time. it’s the saddest thing ever and carries so much trauma, i literally burst into tears. this is so much to process but no words can describe how its the greatest piece of work anyone will ever make.... i’ll probably forever have nightmares about bob hanging out at the foot of my bed but it was worth it.
