Meg’s review published on Letterboxd:
My little brother has been wanting to get more into film lately and so I decided that a little Taika comedy was the perfect introduction. There was a ton of passion put into this. It was surprisingly heartwarming and expectedly well shot. Some of the performances weren’t all there but honestly it’s probably because I’m picky about accents. Not really anything deep, but that wasn’t what I was expecting in the first place. The film relies HEAVILY on dramatic irony and manages to play that off for the bulk of the laughs. There’s nothing more American than being able to sit in a theater with your brother and shit on Hitler for two hours.
