    One thing I really miss about action movies of the 90s is the extent to which they usually revolved around Normal Guys. Normal Guys who were also Cops or Soldiers or whatever, sure, but Guys who were still resolutely Normal. These days action movies are mostly about either actual superheroes or Tier One Operator types.
