Matt Strohl’s review published on Letterboxd:
I was nearly deterred by the TV production quality but I stuck with it out of interest in the early Bronson performance and very early Kurt Russell performance. And I’m glad I did. This is derived from a two part tv episode, but the way it’s assembled— with an abrupt transition to a very, very long flashback— is weird and unusual enough to be interesting. There is some excellent dialogue and acting. Even some of the direction is a pretty interesting, especially the final showdown.
