Chameleon Street

Chameleon Street ★★★★

Funny, thought-provoking, and restlessly experimental while still being endlessly watchable. Points the way forward for 90s independent cinema significantly more than Sex, Lies, and Videotape, but largely held back from exposure for a decade (despite being sampled in Black Star's "Brown Skin Lady"). A one-off director/writer/star who deserved a full career and a film that NEEDS a higher profile.

Must-see and hopefully will come back in print soon, please seek it out if you can.
