Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

Resident Evil: The Final Chapter ★★★★

i don't really care how anyone feels about RE because i've loved this franchise forever. i actually didn't hate any of the sequels (okay but the one with ashanti was somewhat questionable) and milla jovovich was honestly the best alice i could've asked for. a movie doesn't have to have some intricate indie film plot that everyone needs to suck up to be any semblance of good. everyone loves films like die hard, crank, death race, etc. i love resident evil even though the dialogue can be stupid at times. and honestly i cried at the beginning and at the end because milla is the best actual badass mom that i'm gonna miss seeing relentlessly kicking ass on screen. honestly wish this is like a nightmare on elm street and friday the 13th where they had "final" chapters but kept going after. then again, i guess there isn't more to tell. i'm gonna miss resident evil and thanks syfy for letting me rewatch all of the films before i went to see this. i'm gonna go cry a little now
