    Mainstream

Not a fan of some of the stylistic devices Coppola employs, nor do I think her screenplay is always an especially well-conceived satire of modern internet culture, but Andrew Garfield’s charmingly unhinged turn as No One Special grounds Mainstream in a loopy reality all its own. Absolutely enamoured with Maya Hawke and Garfield’s chemistry, which is so palpable as to set the screen ablaze during the film’s killer first act (even if their bond does become undeniably diminished as Coppola’s…

Miss Fisher and the Crypt of Tears

Phryne Fisher is the most delightful character of all time. A hero, an idol, a mood.

James Bond is dust. Indiana Jones found dead.

Also it teases a sequel and I would like to see it right now!

Dan Torrance conquers his addiction, grows beyond his trauma, and comes to aid of those who need him most. He is one of my favourite characters in all of fiction, because he makes me feel that one day I’ll have the courage to evolve too. I won’t keep my shine out of sight.
