BlacKkKlansman ★★★½

Spike Lee doesn't make movies to win awards, but if there is one then BlackkKlansman may be just that. Its mainstream, a visual 35mm treat which not only reflects on Spike Lee accomplishments, evolving as a filmmaker but on America as a nation, where racism is like a disease that can't be treated by any government or medical staff. It starts and ends with the people from opposite cultures. Do we stay in peace? Accept who we are? Sadly, it's a difficult task to do, but it shouldn't be.

BlackkKlansman with all its sociopolitical themes and motifs, weirdly enough, has more entertainment value than an actual punch; except the real footage that gives the dosage of a meat hammer which the actual film lacks to show us. Jasper Pääkkönen better known from Vikings absolutely takes the cake. He was awesome.
