Dillon Friend’s review published on Letterboxd:
it’s been a while since Iv seen any Nolan but Tenet seems oddly small in scale compared to his last few features. Unfortunately this does not eliminate the “epic” atmosphere and unnecessary weight to almost all the dialogue. A good deal of which was pretty corny despite what it seems to want you to think. Guy needs to chill out.
“We have to save the world”
“From what? Nuclear holocaust?”
But Washington and Pattinson’s approach to the performances brought a much needed humility.
Unclear how intentional it was plot-wise (literally) but was still really fun to watch.
Just don’t get too hung up on the science or motives behind the film.
