so basically i watched this after going op shopping and hunting for some cheap dvds to add to my collection. found it for 99c, what a bargain considering how much i enjoyed this movie.
clovefield works well as an experimental film, a found footage film, and a horror. with exceptional choreography from the camera to make it look realistic, it really feels like you're watching found footage. (do all the shakes add to the immersion? surprisingly, yes!!)
while the dialogue is somewhat mediocre the visuals are spectacular, especially for such a low budget movie. because we didn't see the monster so much it really added to the tension, like what the fuck is this thing?
i plan to rewatch this later, but i really am itching to pick up the blu ray or 4k UHD. who knows maybe!!
but seriously a great film.
