Halloween/Friday the 13th/Nightmare on Elm Street marathon

Film 7 - Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter

The worst Friday film in the original four films. At 90 minutes, the pacing in this thing still feels so messy - I can’t count how many times the film gave us build up and release only to start again from zero. It felt like I were slugging to the climax until It finally sneaked up on me.

Took me a couple of days to cook up something for this cause DAMN! This is going to be the easiest 100 I’m going to give in a long time.

The Lighthouse is a film that comfortably sits in its own league and its attention to story progression and atmosphere-building is dumbfounding; a true achievement.

    The Green Knight

    ★★★★½

Mesmerizing from beginning to end. Featured  some of the coolest and most fascinating sequences I’ve seen in the last number of years. Leads to one of the most explosive third acts I’ve seen recently. Need to watch again to see if it gets that 5/5 cause I had a slightly distracting experience in theater but I can’t wait to watch again. (With subtitles)
