What a coincidence the fact that I am reading George Orwell's 1984 and got to watch this without knowing anything about it.
I'll resume all my thoughts because I don't really have many. It's a pretty enjoayable John Carpenter movie, with an incredible idea and concept. Now somethings that bothered me: The acting (really annoyed), the fact that could've explore way more about aliens and why are they capitalists.
The fact that glasses are the gadget to differ the humans was really amazing to me.
A still very relatable movie, making connections yet nowdays theories.
With more budget and the special effects we have today this would be a master piece. But with the time that was made we can show a great admiration to this incredible director, which I should watch more movies.
He grabbed the guy by his beard.
