Sometimes I watch movies only to rate them on Letterboxd.
I didn't really "feel" this film, but I wanted to since the story has potential. The acting and the storytelling didn't deliver much credibility, in my opinion. And honestly, I found the character Ellis intrusive, at least in the beginning. When someone says no, please listen:) Plus he literally knew her for like a week when he confessed to loving her and said he couldn't imagine life without her!! However I loved when he wanted to give her flowers, but instead gave her books with flowers in the title! How original and romantic ♡♡
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Here's a summary:
Yondu made an appearance, some OK Star Wars references made the audience chuckle, a good storyline that intertwined Dom and Mia's brother that suddenly exists, Han's alive (I'm also waiting for Gisele's return from the dead btw), even familiar faces from Tokyo Drift shows up sending Tej and Roman to space, and the credit scene made me laugh!
sooooo it was okay after all
(except when the "bad guy" claims to be LS)
