At first, the thought of a sequel to 2014's "Paddington" was iffy, daunting, even, especially since the first one was oh-so-perfect. But lo & behold, here comes "Paddington 2", which hammers an amazingly delightful sequel into them eyeballs.
Ben Whisaw voices our main protagonist, 'Paddington', & is perfectly casted, giving the character the depth & emotion lacking in most CG family features. (I mean, think about the big screen adaptations of "Yogi Bear" & "The Smurfs") But he's not alone & is joined by the…

Fox knows how to do coming-of-age movies about young adults, such as "Say Anything", "(500) Days of Summer", & "The Fault in Our Stars".
"Love Simon" is a welcomed addition to their library of hits & misses, in which this one is definitely a hit. Well-written, well-acted, beautifully shot, & surprisingly heartwarming & thoughtful.
Overall, it's basically a gay John Hughes movie, which is a great thing. 🌈
