Sean Baker’s review published on Letterboxd:
Making my way through the Yusuf Trilogy. Semih Kaplanoğlu impressed me with his craft on Grain -- framing, camera moves and locations. This one is nicely shot yet doesn't have the eye candy of Grain.
Like Grain, I see major influence from Tarkovsky and Kiarostami.
The Olive Films DVD has a strange aspect ratio. Film is 1.85:1 yet appears in a window box. Black on top and bottom.
