One Day / One Night Movies

Films that take place over the course of a day or an evening. There’s a special type of tension and energy to these scenarios where the protagonists have not gone to sleep, and with very few exceptions, have a linear narrative. For this reason, I’m pretty strict about what qualifies, vs other “one day” lists I’ve seen.
In addition, films which use a one day or night framework merely as a vehicle to tell a story via flashbacks, are not included (eg “Lola Montes”, “Amadeus”), although I am adding “The Slender Thread”, as that works a little differently, in that the action in the “present” of the film is substantial and urgent enough to stand on its own as a story.
Suggestions are welcome as I’m always discovering new ones.
