Liam Underwood’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is my first experience with Abbot and Costello, and thanks to a recently acquired boxset the first of many more to come. The story to One Night in the Tropics is nothing particularly special and fairly predictable, but still enjoyable enough. However, it is whenever Abbot and Costello are on screen that the film really picks up. Admittedly some of their routines don't exactly feel naturally integrated into the story, but they're funny regardless. The song and dance routines performed by other cast members also didn't feel like they quite fit, but I had a pretty good time with this film anyway.
