So many great ideas wasted on cynics without humour. The saddest part of this is watching a film crew scramble for ideas once the point was made.
I'm genuinely shocked this is regarded as the better Universal Frankenstein movie. It plays like a cheap pulp paperback sequel to the original's leather bound hardcover. I don't know why the original supporting cast didn't return for this one, but it's a shame they didn't spend a bit more time on the casting.
