WHAT is this movie about. Love the moods these settings can create, and the soundtrack was nice, but story wise I felt like the message flew over my head. The visuals of the movie are STUNNING, and why I rated the movie so high. The fact that this was stop motion is incredible to me.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City

Literally amazing. I dont understand what people dont like. Visually great- a mix of an old, low budget 80s movie (saying this as a high compliment) yet great visuals and fun action! The excitement of connecting characters and scenes to the original games made up for the sometimes clunky plot-honestly it gave it a highlight cutscene feel, like we were watching top moments from the games.
I really recommend this one-it's a fun watch! Maybe if people had open hearts to get a lil silly in your horror movie it'd have been better received.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I wanted to love this movie more than I have for a movie before. Truly its a fine film-honestly there's some references more enjoyable than some of the previous films, and the kills feel shocking, although not particularly unique or gory enough. The way the characters are written feel flat for a majority of them, and honestly not enough people died for me.
Also the ghostface reveal felt lame-while red herrings are always a big thing in a scream movie,…

Wanted to like this movie! But if my partner was acting like this and I wasnt kissing them already...they get the boot

  • Society

What can I even say. The last like 15 mins of this film......visually horrifying. The acting....maybe not the best. The message? Well I'll quote the Joker here: we live in a society.

    Scream 4

Watched this to prep for Scream 5 coming out, and it's the sequel that follows closest to the first for me, personally. There's a lotta good performances in this one, and while some character dialogue and choices dont make sense to me ("To survive in a reboot, you basically have to be gay" ????????) the rest of the movie make up for it to me. Still not as fun as the OG, but hey, better than the third by a mile.

  • The Running Man

    The Running Man

This is a MOVIE! Ridiculously satirical, the movie is really just some men running a lot. I love the sometimes silly dialogue, the action scenes, and the constant one liners of the cast (and especially Arnold). It's amazing that this movie came out the same year as Predator.

  • Predator

This movie has an almost nostalgic feel to it in the music and graphics. Sometimes the invisible moments look silly, but the tense fear the characters have fighting an enemy they can't always see makes up for it. It's truly a terrifying situation to imagine! The movie is fun, despite the occasional slog of people fighting each other moments.
Arnold is great as always, and the rest of the cast is fun since they all do give off the vibe of being trained for every situation except aliens. Would watch again!

Had commentary with this movie but....I mean the overacting of the side characters isnt bad. Neal McDonough carries

Honestly love the era of hip hop artists being in horror films. Ok yeah the plot doesnt make a lotta sense. And maybe the writing is a lil bad. And maybe the acting isnt the best either. Big Daddy Kane is killing zombies. Chill out.
