    Not exactly what I expected, at times was just string of Sopranos references loosely strung together by a plot. I don’t really know what the purpose of this movie is. If it’s a period piece then it’s pretty generic.     Moments that were genuinely moving and moments where I wanted to look away. A pretty thoughtful (if not sometimes on the nose) depiction of trauma responses, in particular in regards to affection. Deeply twisted but tender, like if Cronenberg had a softer, sentimental side. Incredible needle drops. We all deserve to feel loved.
