I am a woman who enjoys many films... some more than others.
Amazing! Pure cinematic genius! This film does the original franchise justice with it's own unique take. The traps are more gruesome, bloody gorey delight. As well as having it's own special political message of police corruption. The twist, I saw coming, but nonetheless made the film still enjoyable to watch. The theme song always gets me all the time, as my heart pounds to the climax leading to the ending finale of any Saw film.
I really liked this film although the premise of it was disturbing with it about a pregnant woman swallowing random objects, it was beautifully shot. The visual cinematography made it appealing to my eyes and made me feel emotionally invested to the main character. The husband was a scumbag, didn't care for him at all, and the Syrian refugee nurse was such a sweetheart. He was the only one who cared about the main character.
The scene where the main…
Very riveting! Some parts tugged at my heart strings, loved the twist at the end. My fiance had extreme Lucio Fulci vibes and I have to agree. The performance by the main actress was amazing and very up to par. I would say all the acting performances was well done. Cinematic scenery was artistic and vibrant, pleasing to my eyes. This has to be one of my favorite films to conclude for this year.
Where do I begin? Well, to start off, I felt so invested in the main character Juliet. As the viewer you initially feel sorry for her but as the movie goes on, you're rooting for her till the end. However, I loathed the other characters... especially her twin sister Vivian. God, I just wanted her to DIE. To sum up this movie, I'd say it kinda felt like a mix between Black Swan and A24 movies? I dig it.
