Oof. When a movie chooses to show you the same event three different times, it needs to reveal things from others’ perspectives to keep it compelling. Unfortunately, here, we have a plodding plot that jumps around in time without a strong payoff. I’ll admit the premise is good and the acting is strong, but the story is s bit of a mess.
Also, what a weird choice to give Statham very little to do in the third act when you’ve built up his backstory to show us he’s a badass pretending to be an average joe, but then he doesn’t get to show off his skills much in that final shootout at the depot.
